Performing University For Theatre Arts

PUFTA is a really well known and amazing drama school. We hadn't ever heard of it before we come here but now that we are we realise it's well famous and that.

It's based in the Big Apple, New York City! They call it the Big Apple cos it's, well, cos, they call it that!

PUFTA is a brand new school - it's only a couple of years old but it's got lots of traditions already - like the PUFTA Prize. Polly Rose Marie started the school cos she knew how hard it was to be a good actor and that in this day and age so she wanted to make a safe place where people could go to become all actory!

They teach everything you need here. Innvoative Interpretations is one ofthe best classes, that's Hadley's class and we do all sorts in there but he says it is all acting. One day we spent eight hours existing as an animal. We regretted our choices of Sea Lion and Grass Snake pretty quickly! But we learned something that day so that was good.

Body Tempo is where we do moving - cos as an actor you have to be able to walk andd talk at the same times and not to walk into furniture and that.

Vocal engagement is our fav! That's talking - and we are good at talking! Trey is our favourite teacher 'cos he is well funny and he laughs at all of our jokes.

Book Binding is very useful too. It's for when you write plays, we think, then you know how to make them into a book so you can publish stuff, we think!
